The Imperial County Fire Department is budgeted for 70 full-time and 30 part-time employees, nine of whom are dedicated to the City of Imperial, operating from nine fire stations on a three-shift system - A, B and C - each supervised by an on-duty Battalion Chief reachable 24/7.
